This etude from Trois Nouvelles Études for piano composed in 1839 is here transcribed for violoncello with guitar accompaniment.  It is an excellent study for smooth bow and string changes, inaudible position changes and tasteful vibrato and glissandos - all for the purpose of creating a perfect phrase, based on the fascinating harmonies in the guitar part.
