This delightful second (and final) movement of Beethoven's early Sonata for Piano, Four Hands, Op. 6, appeared to me perfectly inviting to make an arrangement for three celli.  The thickness of piano four hand sound is quite compatible to the thickness of celli playing together, and when there is a texture technically fitting our instrument, as is the case in the Rondo, the adaptations that one has to do are not many.
