Viacheslav Dinerchtein

Born in Minsk, Viacheslav Dinerchtein immigrated to Mexico in 1991, where he began an array of different musical activities. He has frequently appeared as a soloist with orchestra as well as in recitals throughout Mexico, USA and Canada, having performed at the Carnegie Hall (New York), Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City) among numerous other stages. Heralded an "exceptional musician" (The News) and a "gifted communicator" (El Nacional), Viacheslav Dinerchtein is a frequent guest soloist and a chamber musician of diverse music festivals such as Bach International Festival (Peru), Colloquium Music Festival (Zacatecas, Mexico), Spoleto Music Festival (Italy), Otono Internacional (Mexico City), Camarissima Music Festival (Mexico City), Niagara Music Festival (Canada) and others, often being broadcasted on radio and television. He has been a featured guest soloist of the U.S. State Department (Washington, DC), and has collaborated with the violinist Victor Danchenko (Prof., Curtis Institute) in recording violin-viola duets for the Urtext Digital Classics label.

For many years, Viacheslav Dinerchtein studied with his father, Boris Dinerchtein. He received the Master of Music and GPD in Chamber Music diplomas from the Peabody Conservatory of Music (Baltimore, MD) under Joseph de Pasquale, and subsequently joined the Northwestern University (Chicago, IL) doctoral program as a student and teaching assistant of Roland Vamos.

In his free time, Viacheslav Dinerchtein enjoys reading, listening to jazz, visiting museums, playing chess and performing card tricks. He is a member of the American Mensa, the top 2% IQ society.
